Today I took Rowan out for his first ride in the new kayak. It was a short ride around Collins Cove. I’m looking forward to longer boat rides with the kid as he become more use to riding in the boat, and I’m more confident he will not stand and flip us. [...] I bought a “new” used kayak and I can already tell Rowan’s going to enjoy it as much as me. Here are some pictures of us checking out the new boat. I finally posted pictures and videos from our trip to the East Durham NY Irish Festival held back in May. It was a blast, as always, and it was the first time Rowan rode on amusement park rides. Taken at Lake George, NY, in July 2010. Here are a few more pictures of Rowan at this year’s Camp Turner. This was his second year at Camp Turner, and just like last year, the kid has a blast. He’s a great little camper. Melanie loves these pictures she took of Rowan. She says he looks like his old man. Guess that’s what wearing my glasses will do to the kid. Here’s a short video of Rowan on his first day out on the new kick scooter. Back in July we took Rowan and Jackson to Edaville USA to see Thomas the Tank Engine.
