Rowan turned 1 month today. And what better way to celebrate then to post a few videos. This first one is Rowan at the ripe young age of 15 days.

This afernoon Rowan and I spent some extra special time together. I say this not only because he seemed so happy but because he just couldn’t stop smiling at me! While I talked to him he watched me and looked me in the eyes. Moments later he was smiling and smiling! He even gave me [...] I guess writing about Rowan not sleeping well for 2 nights paid off because he did great last night. I hope I’m not jinxing us for tonight but it’s nice to have him back on schedule. A couple of days after bragging about getting a decent amount of sleep, Rowan decided to change his pattern. He’s been more cranky than usual and sleeping less at night, which means Mama T and I have been getting less sleep too. We’re hoping this is temporary. Maybe he is going through a growing spurt. [...] Rowan had his second checkup with the pediatrician today. He is up to a whooping 8 pounds 1 ounce, up from 7 pounds even at his last checkup. The doctor was pleasantly surprised by his rapid growth, and said it was outstanding. I thought he should be a bit heavier but that just shows what [...] A common question asked of us is “Are you getting any sleep?” Or “How are you handling the lack of sleep?” Or “Sleep deprived yet?” Most people are shocked to hear that we are actually getting a good amount of sleep considering we have a new born. Sure, Rowan will wake up during the night [...] Wow, almost two weeks have gone by since Rowan was born and I haven’t written a single thing. Of course I have a lot less time to spend on the computer these days. It is hard to type while breastfeeding I must admit. I think the biggest reason I have not written though is that I [...] Who is the real Mr. Magoo? As you can probably tell from this picture I’ve been too busy to post pictures. But I didn’t mean to wait an entire week before posting more. Sorry about that.
